The thread that started it all
My journey into the world of handmade crafts began at a very young age, thanks to the wonderful talents of my grandmother and mother. I spent countless hours knitting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidering tea towels. In 2024, my sister-in-law introduced me to quilting, and I've been completely obsessed ever since! The idea for That's Sew Cute by LJ truly blossomed after making tote bags for friends and coworkers; their delighted response of "That's so cute!" sparked the realization that I could turn my passion into a business.
My world beyond the needle
When I'm not busy creating whimsical tote bags, key fobs, bowl cozies, quilts, and scrunchies, I'm blessed to be married with twin teenage boys and a sweet pup named Cookie. We call Wake Forest, NC, our home. My full-time career is in Interventional Radiology, which is truly another one of my passions. Balancing these worlds allows me to bring unique perspectives and dedicated care to everything I do, both personally and creatively.
